Akadema AMT176 Precision Kip fastpitch softball glove has a 13” pattern. The AMT176 features a Double Web, open back, small finger stalls, and a deep pocket. This is the gameday glove of Team USA star Monica Abbott. The AMT176 features accent highlight Tennessee blue lacing. The latest glove series by Akadema uses Precison Kip leather that is 20% lighter and tighter grained than steerhide . The Hides are harvested in Europe and tanned in Japan. The gloves are more pliable, easier to break in and have more tensile strength than our competitors glove lines. This is a professional ladies fastpitch glove that is now available to the rest of us.
The AMT176 fastpitch pitchers glove is designed by Monica Abbott, one of the greatest pitchers in the sport. She likes a slightly longer pattern, and this would also be a great glove for outfielders with its 13" pattern.
The Precision Kip Leather is 20% lighter. It also has tighter grain than steerhide making it a very durable glove. The gloves are also easier to break in and more pliable! Precision Kip Leather breaks in easier but it is stiff when new.
