Sep 27,2010 - Hawthorne, NJ – September 27, 2010 – Akadema’s latest glove line, the Torino Series, is set to debut in November. The series will replace the current Professional Series and will feature brown and tan kip leather. Ten glove models will be a part of the first series: three infielder, two outfielder, two pitcher, two catcher and one first base mitt. “Akadema has fielded thousands of inquiries about the highly anticipated Torino Series. It’s easily the most anticipated and hottest reception we’ve ever received in our history,” says Akadema Vice President, Kris Totten. The three infield gloves will include an 11.5” glove with an H-web, an 11.5” glove with a modified trap web and an 11.75” glove with an I-web. The outfield models will be a 12.75” H-web and a 12.75” fly trap web. Pitchers gloves will include two models, a 12” with spiral lock web and a 12” with double web. The two catchers mitts will include a 33” hinge closed web and a 33” spiral lock web in Akadema’s praying mantis design.
